Renault | Design Award 2019

Renault organises (bi-annual) an online design campaign in the Netherlands. For the third time in a row we created and produced an online web series for this campaign. This year Renault invited all Dutch people to come up with ideas on how their ideal, self-driving car of the future would look like in 2030. Tim Senders (known from KRO-NCRV “Streetlab”) presented the series.

 

From all submitted design ideas three finalists were chosen. Done by three-person design jury lead by Dutch Laurens van de Acker-(Executive Vice President Corporate Design). All three finalists were invited to come in present and design their 2030 car design ideas where we produced one episode per idea. To visualize this they worked together with an experienced car designer (Ruben Ooms). In the final episode, filmed at the 2019 Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, Laurens van den Acker discussed the designs and announced the winner. This lucky person (Arne Bijsterbosch) won a year of 100% electric driving in the new Renault ZOE.
